What personal data we collect and why
Email address – collected when you join our wait-list or newsletter.
Purpose: send early-access invitations and product updates.
Legal basis: consent under Article 6 (1)(a) UK GDPR.
Website usage data – page views, country/region, device type, referrer URL.
Purpose: improve site performance and understand pre-launch interest.
Legal basis: legitimate interest when metrics are aggregated and cookieless or consent where cookies are used.
Analytics providers
Framer Analytics – cookieless, aggregated metrics.
IONOS WebAnalytics – server-log metrics, cookieless.
Only one analytics tool is active at a time. Non-essential cookies load only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings.
Email service provider
We store and send emails through Mailchimp, whose servers are located in the EU and United States. Transfers outside the UK/EU are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
How we store and protect your data
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Mailchimp, Framer and IONOS encrypt data at rest. Access is restricted to authorised staff on a need-to-know basis.
Retention
Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is closed and are reviewed quarterly.
Your rights
You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing privacy@newtri.co.uk. You may also request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data. We respond within one month. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local EU supervisory authority.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with Mailchimp for email delivery and with whichever analytics provider is active, each acting under our instructions and UK/EU-approved safeguards.
Changes
Updates to this notice will appear here and, when significant, will be announced by email at least seven days before they take effect.
